We are searching for an ambitious and motivated Audit Senior to join a top 10 accountancy firms in their Audit & Assurance team.
 
Job description
 
You will work with a diverse portfolio of clients, taking responsibility for planning and completing audit assignments while supporting and mentoring junior team members. 
 
The role offers strong progression opportunities, flexible working, and continued professional development.
 
This is the ideal role for someone who is ACA or ACCA qualified, or close to.
 
Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead audit fieldwork, including substantive and analytical procedures, both on-site and remotely
  • Plan, execute, and complete audit assignments to a high standard
  • Prepare statutory financial statements from client records
  • Identify audit risks and communicate findings to Managers and Partners
  • Ensure audit files contain appropriate and sufficient documentation
  • Support the finalisation of audits for managerial review
  • Mentor, coach, and support junior team members and trainees
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships

Ideal Candidate:

  • ACA or ACCA qualified (or close to qualification)
  • Previous experience within audit practice
  • Strong technical knowledge of audit and financial reporting standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines effectively
  • A collaborative approach with strong attention to detail
  • Keen to develop leadership and people management skills
