They are now seeking a Private Client Tax Associate Director to join their growing South Region team.
The Opportunity
This is a senior leadership opportunity within a thriving Private Client Tax division. You’ll take ownership of a high-value client portfolio, lead complex personal tax projects, and play a pivotal role in managing and developing the wider team. The role offers a balance of compliance oversight, advisory delivery, and people leadership – ideal for someone looking to shape the next stage of their career within a progressive and forward-thinking firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse portfolio of private clients, overseeing both compliance and advisory work.
- Provide expert advice across personal tax, trusts, and estate planning.
- Identify tax-sensitive expenditure and broader tax planning opportunities.
- Liaise directly with clients to resolve queries and deliver an exceptional client experience.
- Ensure all HMRC and internal deadlines are met across your portfolio.
- Support and mentor the Private Client Tax team, conducting appraisals and providing technical coaching.
- Drive improvements in the quality, efficiency, and consistency of tax delivery.
- Monitor WIP, productivity, and billing to ensure commercial performance.
- Contribute to business development and the ongoing growth of the Private Client service line.
About You
- CTA, ACA, ACCA, or CA qualified (or equivalent).
- Experienced in Private Client or Mixed Tax within a professional practice environment.
- Strong technical understanding of personal tax legislation and complex advisory work.
- Skilled in managing client relationships across multiple sectors.
- Confident leading and mentoring team members at various stages of their career.
- Commercially astute with a proactive approach to identifying new opportunities.
