The Role
You will advise and act for a wide range of clients including landlords, tenants, developers, and investors across both commercial and residential property sectors. The role offers a diverse caseload and the opportunity to handle complex, high-quality disputes from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advising landlords and tenants on all aspects of real estate disputes.
- Managing claims involving breaches of covenant, alterations, assignments, and underlettings.
- Handling commercial landlord and tenant matters including break notices, dilapidations, rent reviews, forfeiture, and surrender.
- Managing possession proceedings, trespass and squatter issues.
- Advising on adverse possession, nuisance, and easement claims.
- Dealing with rights to light, TOLATA, and service charge disputes.
- Representing clients in business lease renewals and related matters.
- Ensuring matters are handled efficiently and in line with the firm’s quality standards.
- Maintaining strong client relationships and identifying opportunities for further business development.

About You
To thrive in this role, you’ll be an experienced and confident property litigation solicitor with the ability to manage a varied and challenging caseload. You’ll demonstrate strong technical knowledge, commercial awareness, and a client-centred approach.
Essential Requirements:
- 5-6 years PQE in Real Estate Disputes / Property Litigation
- Experience advising residential and commercial landlords and tenants
- Proven expertise across breach of covenant, possession, lease renewals, and service charge disputes
- Strong technical understanding of property law principles
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication and client care skills
- Proven track record of delivering exceptional results and client satisfaction
- Some business development experience and a small referral network advantageous
