Opportunity & Overview:
We are seeking a RISC (Government Contracts) Lawyer to join this globally leading law firm.
Job description:
You will be in the Regulations, Investigations, Securities and Compliance practice team of this well established Legal 500 Firm.
Role Responsibilities:
- Advising government contractors regarding their interactions with federal and state agencies, including advising on a wide range of compliance and regulatory issues
- Drafting and negotiating contracts with subcontractors and suppliers performing on government contracts
- Assisting with corporate transactions involving government contractors
- Counseling clients on claims and disputes involving government contracts, including preparing and prosecuting requests for equitable adjustment and claims
Candidate Requirements:
- 3-5 years or more of legal experience.
- Experience advising government contractors on compliance and regulatory issues.
- Drafting and negotiating contracts experience with subcontractors and suppliers performing on government contracts
- Preferred broad background in a government contracts practice, with experience in corporate transactions, compliance counseling, and litigation
