£27,000-£35,000 per year DOE
Monday-Friday. 35 hours per week
 
Overview and Opportunity
 
Achieve Professionals are working with a growing chartered accountants based in Dundee in their search for an Accounts Advisor. 
 
Role Responsibilities 

• Liaising with clients to obtain any missing/unclear information 
• Ensure correct allocation of financial transactions in the client’s Chart of Account
• Record all accounting adjustments required to produce Financial Accounts and Tax returns
• Ensure correct disclosure of items in the accounts in accordance with UK GAAP
• Identification of tax add-backs and any personal expenditure or use
• Highlight any transactions for review where the correct treatment is unclear
• Preparation of year end Working Papers file
• Perform audit testing under the guidance of an Audit Senior/Manager
• Preparation of Business and Personal Tax computation and/return
• Assist client and team members with queries using technical knowledge

Candidate Requirements 

• Previous experience in an Accounts Advisor role within an accountancy firm
• An accounting qualification, or working towards
• Positive attitude willing to come in and support the team where required
