We are seeking a Bankruptcy Associate to join this well-established law firm in New York. 
 
Job Description: 
On behalf of our client, we are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing law firm in a key associate role. This is a fantastic chance to make a significant impact on the firm in their Bankruptcy and Restructuring department.
 
You will be part of a nationally recognised and well-established law firm. 
 
Role Responsibilities

• Represent clients in Chapter 11 and Chapter 7 proceedings, including debtors, creditors, and trustees.
• Draft and negotiate restructuring agreements, disclosure statements, and reorganization plans.
• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda on bankruptcy code, UCC issues, and litigation matters.
• Appear in court for hearings, motions, and other proceedings.
• Advise clients on out-of-court restructurings, workouts, and distressed asset transactions.

Candidate Requirements

• 4-7 years of Bankruptcy and restructuring experience
• Must be admitted to the New York bar
• Experience representing debtors, secured creditors, indenture trustees, bondholder and noteholder groups, collateral agents, bidders and acquirers, creditor committees, trustees, unsecured creditors, liquidation trustees
