We are working with a returning client in their search for an Accounts Administration Assistant in Edinburgh.
Job Description
In this role you will be responsible for managing the administration and accounts of a prominent law firm in Scotland.
This is a great role for candidates looking to start their career in finance and administration, and you will be working with a supportive team.
Role Responsibilities
- Record all cases referred for an account on the database, and capturing relevant information
- Ensure the ledger is accurate and up-to-date
- Ensure third-party law accountants invoices are processed by Accounts Payable in an efficient and timely manner
- Work closely with the finance team to ensure efficient accounts payable operations
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains, contributing to their implementation
- Perform ad hoc duties as required
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in an administrative role
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail with high accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Proactive, adaptable and a team player with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
