We are working with a returning client in their search for an Accounts Administration Assistant in Edinburgh.
 
Job Description
 
In this role you will be responsible for managing the administration and accounts of a prominent law firm in Scotland. 
 
This is a great role for candidates looking to start their career in finance and administration, and you will be working with a supportive team.
 
Role Responsibilities 

  • Record all cases referred for an account on the database, and capturing relevant information 
  • Ensure the ledger is accurate and up-to-date
  • Ensure third-party law accountants invoices are processed by Accounts Payable in an efficient and timely manner
  • Work closely with the finance team to ensure efficient accounts payable operations
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains, contributing to their implementation
  • Perform ad hoc duties as required

Candidate Requirements 

  • Previous experience in an administrative role
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office
  • Strong attention to detail with high accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Proactive, adaptable and a team player with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
