Overview & Opportunity:
We are seeking a Commercial Contracts Solicitor to join one of the North East’s leading law firms.
 
Job Description:
You will have direct contact with the firm’s clients and be involved in business development activities within the Commercial Team in this position.
 
Ideally, you will be 5 years PQE and have a deep understanding of commercial law.
 
Role Responsibilities:

• Drafting and reviewing commercial agreements – including supply, distribution, service, and partnership contracts.
• Advising on contractual risks and obligations – ensuring clients understand legal implications.
• Supporting clients in achieving favourable contract terms.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations – including data protection, competition, and industry-specific rules.
• Supporting corporate transactions – such as mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures with contract-related due diligence.

Candidate Requirements:

• 5 Years PQE+
• Commercially Aware
• Have experience of dealing with all types of commercial contracts, ideally including technology sector contracts
