We are seeking a qualifies associate to join this leading US law firm in their M&A Chicago sector.
 
M&A Associate, Chicago:
This top law firm are seeking an associate to join their 3rd through 6th year associate class.
 
Their Chicago office has over 200 associates and provide services to US and global clients. This Chicago office routinely advises on high-profile M&A, capital markets, public company, banking, restructuring, real estate, and shareholder activism matters.
 
About the Role:

• Conducting thorough investigations of financial, legal, and operational aspects of target companies.
• Preparing and reviewing transaction documents, including purchase agreements, term sheets, and confidentiality agreements.
• Providing legal advice to clients on deal structures, risks, and regulatory issues.
• Analyzing applicable laws and regulations, including antitrust, securities, and tax laws.
• Assisting with closing procedures, including managing logistics, and ensuring compliance with deal terms.

What we’re looking for:

• Minimum of 2 full years working primarily on M&A transactions
• Experience in mergers and acquisitions- specifically company representation and strategic acquisitions
