Job Title: Head of Culture and People
Location: Newcastle Upon Tyne
Salary: £55,000-£65,000

On behalf of our client, we are excited to offer an opportunity to join a dynamic and expanding law firm in a key HR leadership role. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact on the firm’s culture, employee wellbeing, and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Culture and Wellbeing: Lead initiatives that promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture, focusing on employee wellbeing and engagement across the firm.
- Recruitment and Induction: Manage the entire employee lifecycle from recruitment to onboarding and offboarding, ensuring an exceptional employee experience throughout.
- HR Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive HR strategy aligned with business growth, using HR metrics to guide decision-making.
- HR Systems: Oversee the improvement of HR systems, introducing new technologies where appropriate to enhance efficiency and the employee experience.
- Learning and Development: Establish a clear career progression path, manage training initiatives, and design tailored training plans based on the firm’s needs.
- Training Coordination: Coordinate internal and external training opportunities, ensuring they align with the firm’s development goals.
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualifications: Ideally, you’ll have a postgraduate degree in human resources, business studies, or a related field, or equivalent experience. CIPD membership at Chartered or Fellow level (or equivalent) is preferred.
- Experience: We’re looking for someone with proven experience in HR leadership, ideally in a professional services environment. A strong track record of developing and executing HR strategies is essential, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Skills: The ability to think strategically and execute at an operational level, with a clear focus on driving business objectives and employee development.
