Monday-Friday, 9am-5:30pm (there is an option with this role to work either 32 or 39 hours across 4/5 days a week)
We are supporting one of our most valued hospitality clients in their search for an experienced Recruitment & People Officer in Melton Mowbray.
In this role, you will take ownership of the recruitment process and will support in all aspects of the venue’s employees, from their onboarding to day-to-day employee relations.
Candidates for this role must be confident in speaking with people across all levels of the business, as well as being able to suitably sell the business to potential candidates while promoting the positive work culture.
Main Responsibilities:
- Managing end-to-end internal recruitment processes, working closely with all Heads of Departments to settle vacancies within their teams
- Drafting job descriptions, creating inspiring and innovative job adverts, and managing applications
- Taking ownership of when and how positions are advertised, fully utilising the resources at your disposal
- Effectively manage a growing candidate database
- Attend job fairs, exhibitions and competition events, representing the company
- Produce all new starter documentation from offer letters to contracts of employment
- Responding to candidate and employee enquiries
- Providing HR support to Head of Departments in relation to employee performance levels, ensuring a high standard across the organisation
- Contribute to ongoing development of all HR projects, policies and processes
Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience in a people office/employer relations role handling recruitment, preferably within a hospitality environment
- Have exceptional attention to detail and an inquisitive mind
- Fantastic verbal and written communication skills
- Strong technology skills, including experience of a HRIS
- Ability to navigate social media with ease
- Whilst a CIPD qualification would be advantageous, there is scope for this to be developed while working in this role in a supportive environment
