Role: Corporate Commercial Associate/ Senior Associate/ Junior Partner 
Location: Northampton, UK 
Salary: £60,000-£80,000 
 
We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Solicitor or Junior Partner to join our Law Firm clients Corporate Commercial Team based in Northampton.
 
We are looking for someone with a broad understanding of the commercial and legal needs of corporate clients and experience in advising on- corporate structures, acquisition and growth strategies, succession planning, mergers and joint ventures, restructures and demergers, commercial contracts, and corporate governance.

You will have entrepreneurial instincts and spirit and be used to collaborating closely with colleagues across a range of disciplines, clients and other firms and advisers. You will be well connected professionally and adept at networking and driving business development.
 
Role responsibilities include advising on the following:

• Mergers, acquisitions and disposals.
• Succession planning.
• Employee share schemes including EMIs, EBTs and EOTs.
• Restructuring and demergers.
• Finance documents.
• Governance documents including Shareholders Agreements, Articles of Association and Partnership Agreements.
• Commercial contracts.
• Franchising.
• Drafting, advising, negotiating and dealmaking. 

Candidate Requirements and Qualifications 

• A minimum of 8 years PQE with a good range of experience
