We are supporting our longstanding client in their search for a positive and proactive Family Solicitor in Romford.
 
This firm has grown substantially in the last year and is now looking for an expert in family law who is accustomed to managing their own caseload and support the team where required.
 
This is a great role for someone looking to develop their skills and within their career. This is a fully office-based position.
 
Main responsibilities:

• Manage your own caseload within a number of matters relating to family law, including divorce, child custody, domestic abuse, financial settlements, prenuptial agreements, and cohabitation disputes, among others
• Provide an exceptional level of customer service to all clients
• Support the paralegals and wider family team as and when required

The ideal candidate:

• Previous experience of managing your own caseload, preferably with a minimum of 1+ year PQE in family law
• Strong IT skills and very technologically advanced to easily transition with the firm as they are very green and try to reduce paper wastage where possible
• Previous experience in family law within a number of different sectors, and have prior experience in drafting letter, forms, witness statements, etc.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
• Experience in legal aid would be advantageous
