Job title: Residential Development Lawyer
Location: Southampton
Salary: £60,000 – £100,000
 
Job Description
 
The successful candidate will join a large Residential team within an international law firm supporting major clients and panel appointments including house builders, registered providers of affordable housing and PRS investors & developers in respect of residential and residential-led mixed-use development.
 
Responsibilities

• Working on high value residential development and investment projects
• Conditional contracts and transfers
• Conditional options
• Advising on rights of pre-emption
• Collaboration agreements and development agreements

Requirements

• Experience of Residential Development work gained from a large regional or city firm.
• Enthusiasm and a great understanding of this area of law.
• A legal qualification with 3+ years post admission experience.
• Knowledge of the UK living sector with expertise in house-building and/ or strategic land (experience of build to rent and affordable housing would be advantageous but not essential.
• Experience of managing existing client relationships.
