Achieve Professionals are seeking a Personal Injury Solicitor with experience in disease cases to join an award-winning specialist law firm within their Industrial Disease team in either Glasgow or Edinburgh office. 
 
Job title: Solicitor – Industrial Disease 
Location: Edinburgh or Glasgow 
Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 
 
Job Description 
In this role you will have the opportunity to assist individuals suffering from industrial diseases such as vibration-related injuries, noise-induced hearing loss, skin disease, and lung disease. You will be part of a supportive team and benefit from the mentorship of experienced professionals in this highly specialised field. 
 
The role involves: 

• Work collaboratively with a team of like-minded professionals on a mix of pre-litigation and litigation cases. 
• Get hands-on experience with cases in ASPIC and the Court of Session. 
• Contribute to training and mentoring trainees.
• Conduct liability investigations and gather witness statements. 
•  Liaise with and instruct medical experts 
• Draft a range of legal documents, including writs. 
• Consult with Counsel and represent clients in court. 

Requirements/ qualifications 

• You must be able to commute to either our Glasgow or Edinburgh office 
• A minimum of 1 year PQE is essential
• Must have experience in disease
