Position: HR Business Partner 
Location: Northumberland 
Salary: Up to £49,000 per annum, dependent on experience
 
We are recruiting for a HR Business Partner to support the delivery of the People strategy and all people-related activity which underpins the objective of innovation and excellence and that all people policies and practices are leading, progressive and compliant and these are to be applied consistently across the whole business.
 
Job Description 

  • Support the business achieve its strategy by delivering on a wide range of key people projects, aligned to our Catapult Company strategy
  • Manage operational People activities to a high standard and with the support of the wider People team provide advice, guidance and coaching as required on all people related matters
  • Shape and influence the achievement of a high performing company culture
  • Support the People team and wider business to implement and maintain a strong focus on employee development, retention and recruitment
  • Support Company aspirations in relation to inclusion and diversity – ensuring we have an inclusive environment where all of our people can bring their true selves to work
  • Demonstrate a continuous improvement approach, implementing improvements to ways of working wherever possible
  • Support the delivery of progressive people management practices to enhance employee engagement across the organisation, supporting organisational cultural development
  • Advising on and supporting key talent acquisition activity and internal moves
  • Supporting and advising on appropriate organisational development, design and change management practices
  • Leading by example in relation to our Company values – Collaboration, Integrity, Innovation and Excellence
  • Deliver tailored support to our senior leadership teams in all of our locations, considering differing ways of working and requirements. 

Person Specification 

  • To be successful in this role you will be a great communicator, resilient and able to provide high-quality generalist People support on a range of topics.
  • You must be comfortable operating at a senior level and in a fast moving and varied environment and have the ability to positively influence others to support our drive for continuous improvement. 
  • The ideal candidate will live within reasonable commuting distance of the site. 

 
Skills and Qualifications

  • CIPD qualified – preferably to level 5 or 7
  • 5 years PQE and proven track record of operating at Business Partner level
