Achieve Professionals is now working with a reputable law firm based in Bishop Auckland who are now seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join their team.
 
Position: Conveyancer
Location: Bishop Auckland, County Durham
Salary: dependent on experience
 
Experience & Responsibilities:

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload of residential property transactions from inception to completion, providing expert legal advice and guidance to clients throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage a caseload of residential property transactions, including sales, purchases, and re-mortgages, from start to finish.
  2. Conduct thorough due diligence on properties, including title checks, searches and enquiries.
  3. Draft and review legal documents
  4. Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other parties involved in the transaction to ensure timely progression and resolution of issues.
  5. Provide expert legal advice and guidance to clients on all aspects of property law and conveyancing matters.
  6. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and professional standards.
  7. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to each transaction.
  8. Keep clients informed of progress and updates throughout the conveyancing process.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or experienced Conveyancer with at least 2 years of experience in residential conveyancing.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of property law and conveyancing procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure.
  • Proven ability to manage a busy caseload and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in using case management systems and other relevant software.
