Role: Corporate Legal Counsel (8 years PQE)
Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Salary: up to £250,000 (Tax Free) 
 
We are currently recruiting for a Corporate Counsel (8 years PQE) to join an established Law Firm in Dubai. 
 
The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise in corporate law, demonstrating a strong ability to handle complex legal matters for a diverse range of clients. This role requires exceptional legal skills, strategic insight and the ability to thrive in a dynamic legal environment.
 
Role Responsibilities:

• Corporate Advisory: Provide comprehensive legal advice to clients on corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and other corporate matters.
• Transaction Management: Oversee and manage corporate transactions, ensuring due diligence, compliance, and successful deal closure.
• Contract Negotiation and Drafting: Negotiate and draft a variety of corporate contracts and agreements, including shareholder agreements, partnership agreements, and commercial contracts.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure clients comply with local and international corporate laws and regulations, providing guidance on regulatory issues.
• Client Relations: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored legal solutions.
• Dispute Resolution: Handle corporate disputes, including litigation and arbitration, and manage external counsel when necessary.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments within the firm to provide integrated legal solutions and support business development initiatives.
• Mentorship: Mentor and support junior legal staff, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented work environment.
• Legal Research: Stay updated on legal developments and conduct thorough research to support client needs and maintain the firm’s competitive edge.

Candidate Requirements:

• A qualified Lawyer with experience in the GCC. 
• A minimum of 8 years PQE.
• Proficiency in English is essential.
• Knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus but not required.
