Job Description:
 
We are seeking a Real Estate Lawyer with 7-10 years of experience to join this internationally respected, globally recognised Legal 500 Law firm in the US. Any experience in renewable energy is an advantage. 
 
About the Role:

• Facilitate the purchase, lease, or sale of properties for renewable energy projects, ensuring terms align with clients’ sustainability goals.
• Conduct site evaluations, assess environmental conditions, and handle legal and regulatory compliance checks to ensure feasibility for renewable energy development.
• Drafting and negotiating real estate purchase agreements, leases, and financing documents.
• Conducting property title searches, reviewing zoning laws, and assessing environmental regulations.
• Advising clients on legal aspects of real estate transactions, including compliance and risk management.

What we’re looking for:

• Experience advising on utility-scale renewable energy projects, particularly regarding site control and title insurance.
• 7-10 years of real estate experience
• Experience counseling clients through purchases and leasing of real property, including working with title companies and surveyors in negotiating title insurance coverage and endorsement language and survey specifics.

Salary & Benefits:

• $275,000-$300,000
• Earn a $2,500 vacation stipend after meeting billable thresholds.
• Eligible lawyers with 250+ BD hours receive firm-sponsored coaching.
