Litigation Special Counsel
Jacksonville, Miami, Orlando, Tallahassee or Tampa
$120,000-$130,000 per year, DOE
Must be an active member of the Florida Bar 
 
Achieve Professionals are looking for attorneys with 2-5 years of litigation experience to join an incredible Florida Law Firm. The role is within the Litigation Department as Special Counsel and is a full-time, non-partner track position supporting the firm’s Construction Practice Group. 
 
The firm is seeking highly motivated attorneys who hold a JD from an ABA-approved law school. This is an incredible opportunity for attorneys to learn and gain valuable experience.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct discovery
• Draft motions
• Argue motions in court
• Depositions and trials 

Requirements:

• Attorneys in these positions are responsible for a high volume of matters and must be confident in their autonomy
• Self-motivated and stay focused in the office setting
• Very strong legal research and writing skills
• Experience in mediation, arbitration, and litigation of insurance claims, construction and design defect claims, and related matters is strongly preferred
• Proven track record in settling cases
• Strong organizational and time management skills required
