Company Accountant
Middlesbrough
Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm
 
We are supporting a group of companies in Middlesbrough in their search for a Management Accountant, with a salary on offer of £30,000-£35,000 per year.
 
Due to significant growth within the team, this firm is now looking to grow their support team to manage their daily, monthly and annual finances for their growing group of companies.
 
In this role, you will liaise directly with the Managing Director to ensure smooth cash flow in the business and invoicing.
 
Responsibilities:

• Produce detailed financial accounts, forecast, budgets, and analysis on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis
• Development of analysis and reporting
• Production of financial accounts across the growing group of companies
• Management reports, balance sheets reconciliations, statutory accounts and fixed assets
• Monitoring on financial performances across the group
• Working with the management team and Directors to improve cost and utilise performance
• Manage day to day bookkeeping functions including sending invoice, managing debtors and bank reconciliations.

Essential requirements/qualifications

• Qualified Accountant with a ACCA, ACA or AAT qualification
• Driven and ambitious individual who is looking for a long-term role to develop with the company
• Confident in delivering financial accounting results and forecasts
• Ability to work within tight deadlines
• Strong attention to detail
