Job Description
You will be responsible for working on non-contentious employment matters, such as preparing and drafting new contracts and policies, providing corporate support, and advising clients on a wide range of employment and HR-related matters.

Responsibilities:
Manage your own workload, which will include:

• Drafting contracts and policies
• Settlement agreements
• Tribunals – including unfair dismissals and discrimination claims
• Corporate support
• Meet financial targets by ensuring accurate time recording.
• Work on both contentious and non-contentious employment law matters.
• Collaborate effectively with other members of the department.
• Build client and internal communication skills, file management capabilities, and the ability to establish and maintain client relationships.
• Handle a full and challenging caseload.
• Participate in marketing activities and cross-sell the services.
• Train, supervise, and develop junior team members.
• Liaise with internal and external parties, such as colleagues, clients, other lawyers, and intermediaries.
• Stay up to date with developments in the law and fulfil knowledge management requirements.
• Provide exceptional client service by keeping clients informed throughout the process

Essential Requirements/ Qualifications 

• Experience in employment law at a recognised Legal 500 firm.
• Excellent client and internal communication skills.
• File management experience using Liberate is an advantage.
• Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• 8+ years of PQE in employment law.
• A track record of winning work and contributing to the growth of the firm.
