We are supporting a Single Family Office in their search for an Office Manager in New York City, with a salary on offer of up to $180,000 per year.
 
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of the Principal’s Family Office and dealing with any issues in an ever-changing and fast-paced environment.
 
This is a fully office-based role, Monday to Friday with some flexibility to work out of hours when required.
 
Main Responsibilities of the role:

  • Oversee general operations and management of staff, schedules and household supplies and equipment, procedures and property documents
  • Support all administrative duties with the Principal’s family and Family Office, ensuring that it is running smoothly 
  • Assist with Human Resources for the Family Office
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with NY labor law requirements
  • Assist with office IT infrastructure and ongoing management of directories
  • Support Financial Controller with card payments, expenses and general Family Office cost management
  • Maintain office policies and procedures and ensure they are implemented appropriately and identify areas of improvement
  • Perform reception duties, including booking in guests and manage office meetings and shared calendars
  • Prepare travel arrangements when required
  • Basic bookkeeping and support to the financial team as and when required

Essential Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5+ years experience in a Family Assistant/Office Management role within an HNW environment
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, as well as an ability to prioritize
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in dealing with interviewing, appraisals, recruitment, performance reviews, dismissals, and other general HR duties
  • Confident driver with a full driving license
  • Willing to travel between New York, Connecticut and California when required
