Senior Family Lawyer

£35,000-£45,000 per year
4+ years PQE 
 
Our client in Newcastle are looking to expand their Family Team with an experienced Associate/Senior Associate.
 
In this role, you will be responsible for handling a varied caseload of privately funded family matters. The firm predominantly takes on cases involving divorce and dissolution, nuptial agreements, arbitration, among others.
 
Main Responsibilities of the role:

• Build and maintain client relationships, ensuring that a trust and rapport is built given the sensitive nature of this role
• Provide comprehensive legal advice and guidance to clients on all matters related to family law
• Drafting applications, deeds, and agreements
• Business development to ensure a constant stream of new business

Essential Requirements and Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3+ years PQE in a busy Family Law firm
• Previous experience of managing and running own caseload and developing new business consistently
• Must be highly organised and have the ability to multi-task or work independently
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
