Transactions Associate
Silicon Valley, San Francisco or New York
$240,000-$350,000 per year, DOE
Must be an active member of the Bar of the jurisdiction(s) where admitted to practice
 
Achieve Professionals are looking for a corporate associate with 2-5 years of relevant experience to join the Transactions Practice Group in one of this leading law firm’s offices. This is a great opportunity for an associate seeking to build a successful, long-term corporate practice and looking to develop strong, client-facing relationships at this stage in their career.

Candidates must hold a JD from an ABA-approved law school.
 
Responsibilities:

• Handling a mix of emerging companies & venture capital (ECVC) financing, M&A, private equity, and general corporate counseling for publicly and privately held companies, private equity funds, and other investors and entrepreneurs

Requirements:

• Must have experience working on venture capital/early stage financings, mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, and other commercial transactions, in addition to general corporate experience
• Have sophisticated document drafting and project management skills
• A positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills
• An exceptional work ethic
• Must be comfortable having direct interaction with partners and clients
• Strong writing and communication skills are required
