Overview & Opportunity:
Achieve Professionals have partnered with a highly respected and growing law firm in Houston that is seeking an experienced Real Estate Attorney to join its established commercial real estate practice.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded attorney looking to work on sophisticated
transactions for developers, investors, lenders, private equity groups, REITs and corporate
occupiers across Texas and the wider United States.
The successful candidate will advise clients on a broad range of commercial real estate matters,
including acquisitions and dispositions, development projects, commercial leasing, financing
transactions, joint ventures, land use matters and portfolio management. You will have direct client
exposure from day one and the opportunity to play a key role in complex, high-value transactions.
 
The Role:
– Drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements.
– Advising on commercial leasing matters for landlords and tenants.
– Managing real estate financing and lending transactions.
– Supporting large-scale development and construction projects.
– Conducting due diligence and title review.
– Advising clients on risk management and transaction structuring.
– Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
– Collaborating with corporate, finance and litigation teams on multi-disciplinary matters.
– Managing transactions from inception through to completion.
– Working directly with sophisticated clients on high-value commercial real estate matters.
 
Requirements:
– Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
– Active Texas Bar admission.
– Minimum 4 years’ experience within commercial real estate law.
– Strong drafting, negotiation and analytical skills.
– Experience handling transactions with minimal supervision.
– Excellent client-facing and relationship management skills.
– Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously and meet deadlines.
– Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving abilities.
– Experience gained within a recognised law firm environment preferred.
– Strong academic credentials preferred.
