Overview & Opportunity:
Achieve Professionals have partnered with a well-established and highly regarded litigation law firm
in Houston that is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join its growing
team.
 
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious attorney looking to handle a diverse caseload of
plaintiff personal injury matters, ranging from motor vehicle accidents and premises liability claims
through to catastrophic injury and wrongful death litigation.

The successful candidate will take ownership of files from inception through to resolution, working
closely with clients, experts and insurers while benefiting from a strong pipeline of high-value cases
and excellent support resources.
 
The Role:

• Managing a caseload of personal injury litigation matters from pre-suit through to trial.
• Conducting case evaluations and developing litigation strategies.
• Drafting pleadings, motions, discovery requests and legal correspondence.
• Taking and defending depositions.
• Negotiating settlements with insurance carriers and opposing counsel.
• Attending mediations, hearings and court appearances.
• Working closely with medical experts, investigators and other third-party professionals.
• Advising clients throughout the litigation process.
• Preparing cases for trial and assisting with trial proceedings where required.
• Maintaining accurate case records and ensuring compliance with court deadlines.

 
Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active Texas Bar admission.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience handling personal injury litigation matters.
• Proven experience managing cases independently.
• Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
• Experience taking depositions and attending mediations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational and case management abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced litigation environment.
• Trial experience would be highly advantageous.

Salary & Benefits:
