A look back at March with Achieve
It’s been a busy month across the business, from welcoming Sophie to the team and celebrating Abbie’s one-year anniversary, to some of the team taking no a charity hike.
We’ve continued to share insights through our latest blogs, alongside Andrew’s Family Office spotlight, and we’re also currently recruiting for a Finance Consultant to join the team.
Take a look at what we’ve been up to this month.

Welcome to Sophie-Jo Grier
This month, we were delighted to welcome Sophie-Jo Grier to the team as our new Senior Legal Recruitment Consultant.
Sophie-Jo brings both legal and recruitment experience to the role, having built her career within the legal profession across positions including Legal Secretary, Trainee Solicitor and Qualified Solicitor, alongside gaining valuable recruitment experience.
Her hands-on industry knowledge, combined with her recruitment background, gives her a strong understanding of the legal market and what firms look for when hiring. She has already made a fantastic start and is showing great things in her role.
Please join us in welcoming Sophie-Jo to the team.

Happy 1 Year Anniversary Abbie
This month, we also marked Abbie Hayes‘ one-year anniversary with Achieve, a fantastic milestone.
As our Group Finance Assistant, Abbie plays an important role in supporting the business across a wide range of finance functions, consistently demonstrating reliability and strong attention to detail.
Alongside her role, she continues to progress with her studies, working towards her Level 4 AAT qualification, with plans to move on to CIMA in the future.
Congratulations, Abbie, and thank you for all your hard work over the past year.

Charity walk for NASSL
Members of the Achieve team took on a 17-mile coastal hike this month in support of the National Animal Sanctuaries Support League (NASSL).
The challenge brought the group together outside of the day-to-day, while raising funds for a fantastic cause. They completed the hike in just over five hours and are close to reaching their £1,000 fundraising target.
NASSL carries out important work supporting vulnerable animals and helping families keep their pets during difficult times, and we’re proud to support their effort.
Any additional donations are very much appreciated.

Tees Business Live Event – MIMA
This month, we attended the Tees Business ‘Turner on Tees: Culture, Community and Commerce’ event at MIMA, celebrating the impact of arts and culture across the region.
The event brought together a range of speakers and panellists to discuss the opportunities the Turner Prize presents for Teesside, alongside the wider role of culture, collaboration and community in driving future growth.
A great event, and thank you to Tees Business for hosting.

Family Office Spotlight
We’ve seen a noticeable increase in activity across the family office sector this month.
In a recent video, our Principal Family Office Consultant, Andrew Bell, shares his insights into what’s driving this demand, the types of roles coming to market, and where we’re seeing the most movement.
If you’re interested in the family office space or considering your next move, it’s well worth a watch.

Industry Highlights
- Legal – Demand remains steady across mid to senior-level hires, particularly within corporate, employment, and private client teams, with firms focusing on strategic hires rather than volume.
- Finance & Accountancy – Continued demand across both practice and industry, with a focus on commercially minded professionals and those able to support business growth and transformation.
- HR – Hiring remains selective, with increased demand for HR professionals who can support organisational change, employee engagement, and operational efficiency.
- Private Family Office – Activity continues to grow, particularly across senior operational roles such as Chiefs of Staff, Finance Managers, and PAs, driven by increasing complexity within UHNW households.
- Overall trend – Employers remain cautious but active, prioritising quality hires and long-term fit, while candidates are increasingly selective and focused on progression, flexibility, and culture.
Thanks for reading, we’ll be back with more next month.
