VelociTees
We’re delighted to launch our upgraded website.
This month we were proud to sponsor the Job Creation Overall category at the annual VelociTees Awards, supporting the regions fastest growing businesses. We chose to sponsor this category as people are at the core of what we do here at Achieve so it made sense to celebrate that.
We saw SeAH Wind take the win for not only the Job Creation SME prize for its 304% growth in jobs, with a financial year rise from 24 to 97, it pipped other fast-growers to take the Job Creation Overall title, creating 73 jobs created
A huge congratulations and a very well done to the short lists GLC Projects (178%), Outrank (112%), Cavendish Northern Limited (94%), Climb & Conquer (91%).
A great event run by our friends at Tees Business

Family Office Spotlight
Achieve Professionals was created to specialise in recruitment for the professional services and private family office market because we saw a clear gap that needed dedicated focus. While our sister agency, Achieve Hospitality, continues to lead in luxury hospitality and private household staffing, family office roles require a very different expertise and approach, one rooted in understanding complex structures, confidentiality and the unique demands of ultra-high-net-worth environments. Yes, there’s crossover between sectors, and having both agencies means we can support clients who need a blend of private, corporate and household talent, but with processes tailored to each market.
As Andrew Bell recently explained, differentiating these markets is vital because they operate in fundamentally distinct ways, and a one-size-fits-all approach doesn’t deliver the level of understanding and results clients deserve. If you’re looking for a true family office recruitment partner that knows how the industry runs and can support everything from finance and legal hires to strategic operational roles, we’re always happy to have a conversation about how we can help.
Please reach out to Andrew Bell directly.

Industry Highlights – Legal, Finance, HR & Private Family Office
Private Family Office
The UK family office market continues to expand, with the number of single family offices globally now exceeding 8,000+, and the UK remaining one of Europe’s leading hubs. In 2026, hiring demand is strongest across finance leadership, governance, investment strategy and operational oversight roles. Discretion, long-term alignment and institutional experience remain key hiring criteria, with many offices competing for a limited pool of proven senior talent.
Finance
Across the UK finance sector, hiring has stabilised following a cautious 2025, with mid-to-senior level professionals seeing the most movement. Demand is particularly strong for candidates with multi-asset exposure, risk management expertise and strong commercial acumen. London remains dominant, but regional financial centres continue to grow steadily.
Legal
The UK legal market remains resilient, with mid-level lawyers (3–7 PQE) among the most in-demand bracket. In-house legal hiring is steady, particularly within private capital, wealth management and regulated environments. Firms and businesses are placing increased value on lawyers who combine technical excellence with commercial awareness and adaptability.
HR & Talent Strategy
Hiring strategies across all sectors are more deliberate in 2026. Employers are balancing cost pressures with the need to retain and attract high-calibre professionals. Flexible working remains expected, and organisations investing in strong leadership and clear progression pathways are outperforming in talent attraction and retention.
