Monday-Friday, office based (part-time considered)
Overview and Opportunity
We are supporting a respected chartered accountants in Leeds in their search for a Personal Tax Assistant Manager.
Job Description
In this role you will be responsible for assisting the thriving tax team in delivering exceptional service and advice to the firm’s clients.
You will also support the Personal Tax Manager in the supervision and management of the team.
Role Responsibilities
- Management of personal tax portfolio for a range of individuals including directors, sole traders, HNWI and non-UK residents
- Remuneration planning and compliance led advisory work on clients within the portfolio
- Attendance at meetings with clients
- Advising on personal tax payments
- Assisting tax managers with other ad hoc advisory work
- Delegation of work to more junior members of staff to aid career progression
Candidate Requirements
- At least 5 years’ experience of working within a personal tax role
- ATT qualified as a minimum
- Strong knowledge and experience of personal tax
- Experience of training junior members and reviewing their work to aid their development
