We are supporting a growing Accountancy Firm based in Newcastle Upon Tyne with the appointment of Agricultural Accounts Manager.
 
Job Description
 
I’m delighted to be supporting a growing accountancy firm with the appointment of Agricultural Accounts Manager. They are looking for an AAT, ACA or ACCA qualified Accountant to oversee and enhance the preparation of year-end accounts for farming and landed estate clients, ranging from sole traders and partnerships to limited companies. 
 
Role Responsibilities 

• Review and sign off year-end accounts prepared by junior team members 
• Manage a client portfolio, monitor time and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective account preparation 
• Review monthly and quarterly VAT returns 
• Collaborate across service lines to deliver holistic client service, including tax planning and succession advice

Candidate Requirements 

• AAT, ACA or ACCA fully qualified accountant 
• Passion for working with agricultural and landed estate clients
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Exceptional organisational and communication skills
