Role: Personal Injury Paralegal
Location: Glasgow/Edinburgh
Salary: £27,000-£34,000
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday

Overview and Opportunity:
We are looking for an experienced paralegal to join this well established Legal 500 firm in Scotland.
 
Job Description:
In this position, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact on a busy and dynamic team. You will take on a key role in managing personal in jury claims. 
 
Role Responsibilities:

• Taking initial instructions from clients and maintaining regular contact throughout the claim.
• Obtaining and reviewing medical records, accident reports, and witness statements.
• Preparing and submitting claims through the Compulsory Pre-Action Protocols (where applicable).
• Drafting court documents, pleadings, and correspondence under solicitor supervision.
• Negotiating settlements with insurers and opponents.
• Calculating and collating evidence of losses (special damages).
• Ensuring compliance with time limits under Scottish limitation rules.
• Assisting solicitors in preparing cases for the Sheriff Court or Court of Session.

Candidate Requirements:

• Proven experience in handling personal injury claims is essential
• Understanding of personal injury law
