The Role: 
 
Are you looking to develop your career with a well-regarded financial services firm in the South West? Our client is seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join their dynamic team across one of their offices in Exeter, Plymouth, or Weston-super-Mare.
 
As a Paraplanner, you will be a key part of the financial planning process, working closely with Financial Planners to conduct research, prepare reports, and design tailored financial solutions that meet client needs. Your expertise will be vital in delivering high-quality financial advice.
 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with planners to conduct detailed financial research
  • Prepare comprehensive and accurate reports including cashflow forecasts and product recommendations
  • Research financial products and market trends to support advice
  • Use financial planning software (e.g., Intelliflo Office) to prepare recommendations and manage tasks
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices
  • Support client meetings by providing insightful analysis and solutions

Candidate Profile:

  • Proven experience as a Paraplanner in the financial services industry
  • Strong knowledge of financial planning software and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent analytical skills with great attention to detail
  • Good communication skills to effectively contribute to a team and engage with clients
  • Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning is desirable
