We are supporting our long-term client in Gibraltar in their search for an IT Support Specialist, with a salary on offer of £40,000-£45,000 per year. 
 
Job Description
 
In this role, you will be responsible for providing IT support to a prominent Family Office, as well as ensuring their network and security is reliable.
 
Role Responsibilities 

• Identify and resolve hardware and software issues, providing timely solutions to ensure minimal disruption
• Offer support through multiple channels and assist users with regular updates
• Conduct regular maintenance on computer systems and networks, and continually monitor performance 
• Educate users on software applications and best practices, and deliver training sessions when necessary
• Keep detailed records of support requests, resolutions and system configurations
• Oversee network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues, ensure that the Office’s network is reliable 
• Implement security protocols to protect data and systems, as well as responding to any security threats

Candidate Requirements 

• Expertise in operating systems (365, Net2, Suprema), hardware components, and software application
• Familiarity with networking and cybersecurity principles
• Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues as efficiently as possible
• Confident in your availability to convey technical information clearly, particularly to non-technical users
• Efficiently manage multiple tasks and support requests
• A degree in in IT, or a related field, is preferred
