Overview & Opportunity:
We are in partnership with one of the North East’s most well known law firms in search for a Private Client Solicitor.
 
Job Description:
This position offers great career progression, with the firm’s offer to put you through your STEP qualification as well as support with CPD learning and development.
 
The department is closely ran and is extremely understanding and supportive. You will have many opportunities to progress through the firm and achieve your goals with a supportive environment.
 
The firm is looking for NQ+, with at least 2 years of experience in private client law. 
 
Role Responsibilities:

• Must be proficient in handling Wills, Probate, Court of Protection and Lasting Powers of Attorney work.
• The ability to work unsupervised and handle a full caseload autonomously is a must
• Work on a varied caseload in terms of complexity of matters
• Work comfortably in an office-based role (flexibility will be considered where needed with working from home)

Candidate Requirements:

• The firm will provide work to suit any level of experience although you should have at least 2 years’ experience of working within a Private Client area in a client facing role
• Although training will be given, we are looking for someone with excellent client care skills who is able to work on their own caseload immediately
