We are seeking a NQ Insurance Solicitor to join this well-established firm’s expanding team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Newly Qualified Regulatory Solicitor looking for a new challenge to join our award-winning Insurance team, to progress their career and bring their skills and knowledge to a collaborative and professional team.
 
Responsibilities:

• Handling a varied case load of Regulatory related matters consisting of, but not limited to, HSE/CQC/DEFRA/Police and other regulatory related investigations and advocacy at the Magistrates Court, Inquest representation of interested persons and advocacy at the Coroner’s Court;
• Communications with client, opponents and third parties to progress files;
• Supporting the Head of Department and other Advisors on their own cases, and the delivery of the departmental strategy and business objectives;
• Ensuring compliance with internal and external business requirements including ISO:9001 quality control, SRA Principles / Code of Conduct, Court & Tribunal deadlines;

Requirements:

• be a qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive;
• previous experience and knowledge within the legal regulatory insurance sector is desirable;
• experience in attending PACE Interviews under caution or making written representations in essential;
• experience in providing expert legal advice and representation in matters related to compliance, regulation, and enforcement across various industries or public and private sectors;
