Position: Tax Manager 
Location: Tamworth, UK
Salary: £55,000-£60,000
Employment Type: Full-Time, Office-Based

The Role:
As a Tax Manager, you’ll be at the heart of managing a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring timely and accurate tax compliance, while also being involved in exciting advisory projects. Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing tax compliance processes, ensuring tax returns are filed on time, and advising clients on tax payments
• Contributing to a range of tax advisory projects, including IHT planning, share incentive schemes, and business acquisitions and sales
• Reviewing personal, trust, and corporate tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Preparing more complex tax computations and dealing with tax enquiries
• Conducting technical research and providing practical solutions to clients
• Delegating work to the tax team and mentoring junior staff
• Managing the commercial delivery of tax work, including fee quotes and monitoring recoveries
• Contributing to the development of internal processes for tax compliance and advisory work

What You Need:

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a senior tax role
• A solid understanding of both compliance and technical tax processes
• Up-to-date knowledge of tax legislation and the ability to apply it effectively
• Experience working with SME/OMB businesses and managing a portfolio of corporate tax clients
• A proactive, solution-focused approach to client work

Qualifications:

• CTA, ACA, ACCA or ATT qualification is preferred
