Litigation Special Counsel Complex Construction Cases

$165,000-$175,000
 
We are seeking an attorney with at least 6 years of litigation experience to join the Litigation Department in our firm’s Jacksonville, Miami, Orlando, or Tampa office as Special Counsel.
 
This is a full time, non-partner track position supporting our firm’s Complex Litigation Construction Practice.
 
Responsibilities:

• Responsible for multi-party litigation construction defect matters and must be confident in their autonomy
• This position requires an individual who is self-motivated and focused

Requirements:

• Have very strong oratory, research and writing skills
• Have significant courtroom or arbitration experience and will have conducted discovery, drafted substantive dispositive motions, have substantial deposition experience, and at least some trial or evidentiary hearing experience
• Must have baseline knowledge of insurance risk transfer issues for property damage claims
• Strong organizational and time management skills required

 
Candidates must hold a JD from an ABA-approved law school.
 
Board Certification in Construction Law by the Florida Bar is preferred.
