Transactions Associate

Timely admission to the Texas Bar is a requirement
$260,000-$310,000
 
We are seeking an associate with 3-5 years of relevant experience to join the Transactions Practice Group in this firm’s Dallas office.
 
The firm’s Practice Group is integrated nationally and principally involves M&A and securities matters for publicly and privately held middle market/upper middle market companies and private equity firms.
 
Responsibilities:
 

• Primarily working on US and international M&A transactions 

 
Requirements:

• Must be comfortable working on teams and having regular, direct interaction with partners, senior associates, and clients
• Have experience representing clients in a variety of complex corporate matters including mergers and acquisitions, financings, corporate governance, securities, and other commercial transactions.
• Have strong document drafting, communication, and interpersonal skills, coupled with a positive attitude and an exceptional work ethic
• Well-rounded, dynamic, highly motivated associate, who has a strong desire to contribute to a team
• Must hold a JD from an ABA-approved law school
• Must be in good standing and an active member of the Bar of the jurisdiction(s) where you are admitted to practice
• Timely admission to the Texas Bar will be a condition of employment
