Senior Lawyer, Dispute Resolution

£75,000+ per year
Hybrid working option available

We are supporting an outstanding law firm in Newcastle in their search for a Senior Lawyer to join their Dispute Resolution team.
 
The law is going through significant growth and is now looking to expand an already large fee earning team. The client is looking for candidates with expertise in one, or more, of the following: Property litigation, Commercial litigation, Insolvency litigation and/or Intellectual Property litigation.
 
Selected Responsibilities of the role:

• Handle commercial contract disputes for clients, while also supporting junior members of the team where required
• Property litigation including, but not limited to, contested lease renewals, land registration disputes, shareholder disputes, among others
• Contentious probate including will disputes, administration disputes, and proprietary estoppel claims
• Specialist Tax dispute
• Intellectual property disputes including design rights, copyright, passing off and trade marks

Essential Requirements and Qualifications:

• A minimum of 10+ years PQE in Dispute Resolution, preferably within a Legal 500 firm
• Excellent technical knowledge and willingness to support others in the team as it continues to grow
• Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
• A proven track record of generating work
