We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Manager to join our team in Stockton-on-Tees, with a salary on offer of £35,000-£45,000 per year.
This role is ideal for an individual passionate about driving people strategies while handling payroll responsibilities.
This is a full-time office-based position in the firm’s Stockton-on-Tees site, but candidates will, at times, be required to travel to client’s offices.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all HR functions, ensuring compliance with employment laws and best practices, as well as provide expert guidance to clients on HR policies and procedures.
- Oversee and ensure the accurate and timely processing of payroll and collaborate with clients to maintain payroll records and reporting.
- Handle payroll queries and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
- Maintain and update HR policies and procedures to reflect legislative changes.
- Generate reports on HR metrics to support business decisions.
- Ensure GDPR compliance in all HR and payroll processes.
Essential Requirements and Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a HR Manager or Office
- CIPD Level 5 or higher (or equivalent experience).
- Strong knowledge of UK employment laws and HR best practices.
- Competence in managing payroll operations with high attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
