Achieve Professionals are seeking a Residential Conveyancing Assistant with at least 1 years’ experience to provide direct support to a Residential Conveyancer in a busy property department in a high street firm.
As a Residential Conveyancing Assistant you will provide legal and admin support for residential conveyancing on both sale and purchase matters.
We are seeking someone with good communication skills with clients, attention to detail in drafting documents, communication with clients by telephone and in writing and have good working knowledge of the full conveyancing process for both a sale and a purchase. Knowledge of the Land Registry and basic requirement for registrations and SDLT is desirable.
Requirements:
- Minimum prior work experience of 1 year plus in a Residential Property team is essential.
- Ability to work effectively within a team but also work autonomously with some supervision
- Microsoft Office including Word and Excel is essential
- Good English, grammar and spelling
- Numerical skills
- Excellent communication skills – experience in dealing with clients via telephone and face-to-face is essential
- Ability to organise and prioritise workload within the required timescales
- Ability to work under pressure as and when required (this may involve some flexibility in working hours)
- Confidence in using a case management system. Experience of Partner for Windows is desirable but not essential as training will be provided
