Achieve Professionals are happy to be supporting our client in their search for an experienced Corporate Tax Manager, due to the continued growth of the firm.
Requirements:
- ACA/CTA qualified or equivalent
- Previous experience of working in a similar role in an accountancy practice
- Strong technical knowledge of corporate tax compliance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proactive and commercially minded
- Excellent attention to detail
The role:
- Provide tax planning and compliance advice to clients on corporate tax matters to a portfolio of clients, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to relevant legislation and regulations.
- Manage client relationships and act as the main point of contact for tax-related queries.
- Identify tax planning opportunities for clients, provide advice on the tax implications of business decisions and deliver planning projects for clients.
- Review and oversee the preparation of Corporate Tax Returns and computations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant legislation.
- Assist with tax audits and investigations, liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and other stakeholders.
- Support the development of junior staff through training and coaching.
- Stay up to date with changes in tax legislation and identify opportunities for clients to reduce their tax liabilities.
- Work collaboratively with other teams within the firm to provide a holistic service to clients.
- Participate in business development activities, identifying and pursuing opportunities to grow the firm’s client base.
