Finance Controller
Middlesbrough 
Salary depending on experience
Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm
 
We are supporting a growing group of companies in Middlesbrough in their search for a Finance Controller.
 
In this role, you will liaise directly with the Managing Director to ensure smooth cash flow in the business and invoicing. You will also work closely with the group’s Senior Management to manage advertising and budgets.
 
Responsibilities:

• Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting,  forecasting and regular reporting to the Directors of the business
• Work with the Managing Directors to develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with regulatory regulations 
• Monitor and analyse finance performance of the group with regular reports to the Directors and Senior Management team
• Prepare accurate financial forecasts and provide strategic recommendations based on these
• Prepare accurate financial reports on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis

Essential requirements/qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; or a professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, etc.)
• Proven experience in a senior financial roles, and being hands-on with budgeting, forecasting, and analysis
• Strong understanding of financial regulations, standards, and reporting requirements
